About the Lecture
The ongoing situation in Palestine has created immense challenges for families and children. The impact on children in particular is profound. Ongoing overwhelming struggles and exposure to violence shape not only their daily lives, but also the trajectory of their development thus having a long-lasting impact on their mental health. Providing psychosocial support to people in general and to children specifically in times of war is crucial to help them cope and ameliorate the devastating effect of war inflicted trauma.
