DREAM APPRECIATION GROUP: MEMBERSHIP AVAILABLE

This closed dream appreciation group for eight experienced facilitators has two vacancies for 2016. Participants learn a systematic, safe and effective approach to dream appreciation, using a well-established, skills-enhancing, evidence-based dream group method derived from the psychology of C. G. Jung (1, 2, 3). Members qualified for 13 CPD points each per annum with HPCSA over the last three years.

The group meets twice per month in Rondebosch between 6 and 8 p.m. The first meeting in 2016 will be on 19th January. Costs: R300 per month.

The Facilitator: Graham Saayman, Ph.D. was educated in South Africa, Canada, the United States and Britain. Trained as a family therapist at Chedoke-McMaster Hospitals, he has more than 30 years of experience as a clinical psychologist. As Professor of Psychology at the University of Cape Town (1974 -1989), his team researched the relationship between dreams and meditation. He was elected an Honorary Member of the International Association for Analytical Psychology in 2001 for original contributions to Jungian thought. His interests include dream appreciation and group process in ecopsychological retreats.
